BLOC Composite Structures

Specialists in Fiberglass Reinforced Polymers (FRP)

We are specialists of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP). Our commitment to quality and engineering excellence allows us to offer advanced FRP solutions that excel in chemical and corrosion resistance, promising little maintenance and a long product life.

What is FRP?

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics, commonly known as FRP, is a composite material made of thermosetting resins and fiberglass. The resin provides the environmental and chemical resistance, while the glass fibers add structural integrity. FRP is engineered with different types of laminates, each serving a specific function.

Corrosion Barrier: Offers chemical and temperature resistance.

Structural Laminate: Provides temperature resistance.

Topcoat: Ensures environmental and temperature resistance.

The choice of resin and type of glass fiber can vary based on the application and environmental conditions. FRP is known for its mechanical strength, lightweight properties, and excellent temperature-resistant characteristics. It is easy to repair and requires minimal maintenance, making it an ideal choice for various industrial applications.

Why Opt for FRP Over Traditional Materials?

FRP is the material of choice for many contractors and architects, especially for chemical storage tanks, piping systems, and other industrial process equipment. It offers unparalleled advantages over conventional materials like steel, wood, and concrete, including superior chemical resistance, temperature tolerance, and mechanical strength.

Safety & Traction

FRP is non-conductive and anti-slip, making it a safer option compared to steel and concrete.

Low Maintenance

FRP has a corrosion-resistant nature and necessitates less upkeep than traditional metal, wood and concrete products.

Strength & Lightness

FRP is significantly lighter than steel, yet offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.

Design Flexibility

FRP can be manufactured and fabricated in a variety of colors and shapes, providing architects with diverse options for constructing attractive structures.

Gratings

Gratings provide a durable and versatile solution for flooring and walkways. Molded gratings offer a resilient, slip-resistant surface, while pultruded gratings provide excellent strength-to-weight ratios, making them ideal for various industrial applications.

Stairtreads

Upgrade your industrial staircases with our Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Stairtreads. Engineered for durability and safety, these stairtreads offer excellent slip resistance and load-bearing capabilities, making them ideal for high-traffic areas in various industries.

Handrails & Guardrails

Handrailing systems offer sturdy and ergonomic support for safe movement. Cable ladders, or cable tray systems, provide organized pathways for cables, while guardrails enhance safety by creating protective barriers.

CAT Ladders

The ultimate in vertical access solutions with our FRP CAT Ladders. These ladders are made from Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability, making them ideal for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications.

Customized Structures

Customized structures involve tailored composite solutions, designed to meet unique project requirements. These structures combine the benefits of composite materials with flexibility in design and application for specialized projects.
